Indian Desire is a new Restaurant located in downtown Toronto offering artistic takes on traditional Indian Dishes. We proudly use local produce where possible to ensure optimum freshness and seasonality. Both a la carte and tasting menus are available so no matter the occasion there is something at Indian Desire for everyone to enjoy. Families are welcome, we have designed a creative menu for your little ones. We do our best to accommodate all dietary requests. You can pair your food order with our delicious cocktails, or an assortment of wines, beers, and spirts.

ABOUT CHEF

Our head chef has over 20 years of professional experience in Indian culinary. His passion for food took him to different states of India and abroad His food art can be seen on every item you order. He has been trained by master chef Sanjeev Kapoor and chef Harpal Singh Sokhi, the best and one of the most renowned chefs in India. He has helped in many restaurants pre-opening and operations around India and Canada.

Malpua rabri I tried was tasty, quality was good ambience of restaurant was good, I think it could be more sweet and hot. Overall 4/5 in taste 5/5 for quality 5/5 for ambience. I would like to come again

I can't give high enough praise for this place. I eat here often, both for their lunch specials and me and my partner frequently get dinner. The food is unbelievable every time, and I'm having my fun working my way through the menu. I have yet to eat something that falls short of expectations. Everything is very reasonably priced as well and the staff are lovely. Would recommend to anybody who loves Indian food and would consider them for my last meal if I was on death row.

We love going out. Yesterday we found this superb restaurant which we didn’t know before. We had a beautiful time there with fine meal and a nice stuff and a talented chef. We added this fine restaurant in our phone list and we will no doubt come back very soon. Highly recommended.

Incredible food- will definitely be back again. We had the roadside (dhaba) style paneer, okra and dal. Gulab jamun’s are like pillows of heaven. It’s all Bombay style, too good. Highly recommend!

Mutton Tak a Tak and lamb chops were so delicious! The best flavour we had during our stay at The Annex Hotel. The marketing photos of the lamb chops appear larger than the ones we received, thus the -1 star. Still so impressed though.
